As the colder weather and rising costs of living continue, we would like to take the opportunity to make residents aware of a useful support avenue that some may benefit from - assistance via services offered by the Wise Group's mentoring schemes.
News
The Wise Group's professional Mentors work across 6 Local Areas in Scotland (including Glasgow) to provide one-to-one support aimed at alleviating financial struggles for families. They can put you in touch with the right people and work through things at your own pace.
The service is free and open to referrals, with more information being available below.
Home Energy Advice Team ('HEAT')
The HEAT support line is for anyone struggling with any-related matters or anyone who is responsible for paying an energy bill. They can offer:
- Energy crisis & advocacy support
- Energy saving awareness
- Income maximisation
- Energy efficiency Advice
- Debt management

Relational Mentoring for Households with Children Aged Under 18
Face-to-face mentoring to empower families with things such as:
- Financial budgeting and income maximisation
- Energy advice and advocacy
- Mental Health and wellbeing
- Employability support
- Access to training courses and workshops
- Engagement with suitable other support services.
