We are keen to tackle any problem with damp and mould within our homes.
One of the ways we are taking proactive steps to treat mould is through inspections of our homes. For example our gas maintenance contractor, Alba Gas, visit almost every home, every year, in order to test the safety of our tenants' gas supplies and equipment. Alba's engineers have been trained to spot signs of mould growth and will report this back to us for further investigation.
This has proven to be effective, with Alba noticing early signs, and alerting us to the issue where we've been able to resolve the matter.
Our own staff are also alert to the issues, but we need your help to let us know of any concerns. We won't place blame, we just want to get the issue fixed as quickly as possible.
