The Association has been made aware of continued dates for traffic management and associated streetscaping works in the area, which residents may find useful to know.

Residents will likely be aware of the recent street-scape works and associated traffic management in the area, as Glasgow City Council have worked their way round from Yorkhill Street to the crossroads outside the Association's office. This was also highlighted in our earlier article of 30 April.

Glasgow City Council's Sustainable Transport team have informed us that the work will now move to the other side of the crossroads from this coming Monday 22 June as work begins on Radnor Street, with an expected completion date of Friday 17 July. This may be especially important given that the Radnor Street GP Surgery is located here, and access is not expected to be hindered by these works.

In terms of logistical arrangements, the guidance is as follows:

"The junction will remain under temporary traffic management during the above stated dates, with footway pedestrian access maintained at all times across all four arms of the junction. A partial closure of Radnor Street at its junction with Argyle Street for vehicles will be required with a signed diversion route in place for through traffic. Radnor Street will still be accessible for vehicles from its junction with Sauchiehall Street. Emergency services access will be maintained at all times as well as pedestrian access on Radnor Street, including access to all commercial and residential properties."
