Celebrating the Legacy of West Glasgow ACH

News
Published on behalf of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde
For many years the West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital (West Glasgow ACH) – also known as Yorkhill – has been a place of care for families across Glasgow. In 2015, the Children’s Hospital moved from Yorkhill to its new home; the Royal Hospital for Children at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus. Since then, West Glasgow ACH has provided a range of adult outpatient services for the whole of the NHS GGC area.
As part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s long-term strategy, services are now moving from the Yorkhill site to other locations, and we are preparing for this important transition. We would like to hear about your thoughts on the future of the site and also to honour Yorkhill’s incredible legacy and hear from you.
Your stories and experiences are a vital part of its history. By sharing your memories, you can help us celebrate everything Yorkhill has meant to people.
Please take a few minutes to tell us:·
• Your hopes for the future of the site and local services
• Your special moments and memories at Yorkhill
• What the hospital has meant to you and your family
