Becoming a Member
The Management Committee considers all membership applications. Once an application has been formally approved the applicant is issued with a share certificate and is entered on the Share Register.
We have three categories of membership:
- Local residents almost always qualify for automatic approval and remain members for as long as they live in the area.
- New or potential customers of the Association.
- Applications from non residents are considered by the Management Committee and approved if the applicant has a legitimate interest in the Association. This type of membership is valid for as long as the shareholder has an active interest in the Association's activities.
