Major Repairs 2019-20
Major repairs can be common to the tenement or may be restricted to an individual property.
Common repairs require the consent and participation of owners. The table below shows the Association’s share of common costs if the works are common. Not all major repairs can be planned far in advance, so the budget includes a provision for unforeseen situations. Similarly, not all major repairs will proceed if owners do not agree to pay their share of costs, but the Association has to plan to have funding available within the budget on the assumption owners’ consent will be obtained.
